I recently visited San Wei and had the pleasure of being helped by Manor, and I can honestly say she made my experience unforgettable! Right from the start, her warm smile and friendly greeting set the tone for a delightful meal ahead.
This restaurant is by far the best in Queens Center Mall. The Short Rib Rice bowl is the best, so much giving and the beef is tender. Other than that, employees are friendly, and kind. Would come back again.
On a budget so didn't want to spend $19 for the pastrami sandwich and saw that they had a rice bowl version. Never seen that before so gave it a try. It's very interesting! I will say the Chinese flavors of the cabbage kind of clashes with the pastrami, but I expected this much. Good flavor on the pastrami. There are some fatty portions that threw off the texture somewhat. Overall giving this 5 stars considering the setting (pastrami in a mall and at an Asian spot is quite unique to me), the $12 price and the satisfying portion. Looking forward to getting this bowl again to see if it's consistent
their pork and chive dumplings are so good. they have an extensive tea selection and it’s also really good. highly recommend anyone around the area who is looking for something good to eat to stop by San Wei. not pictured here was the churro and ice cream combo we got (super good too!)
They have a $15 combo — protein over rice with veggies (bok choy or broccoli) with a choice of boba milk tea or black tea lemonade. It comes with a side of chicken salad or spring rolls. Very very good!!
The staff is very kind and welcoming. I bought their Chongqing noodles without the pork. It was very flavorful and spicy which I enjoyed. I ordered the lychee jasmine tea which wasn’t to my liking but the manager was very accommodating and offered to make me a whole new one, the pomegranate jasmine tea which tasted so much better. Would definitely come here again!
San Wei Queens center never misses! The food & Drinks are amazing & it dosnt stop at the customer service! The young lady at the front whose name begins with M (I refuse to butcher your name) is AMAZING ! Being a Bariatric patient I often have trouble ordering food. Between my million and one questions and my hesitation I can be considered a handful to some. But not this young lady! She has so much patience and is super versed in the menu to give recommendations. Thank you , thank you ,thank you !
The absolute BEST pork belly over rice. I’ve tried it at other places and this one is just top tier. Amazing flavor. Great texture. They add a marinated egg in there as well and veggies if you’d like. So so good
I ordered the beef noodle soup and the short ribs rice, and both were absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly tender, and everything was well-seasoned. Definitely worth trying 💯
San Wei has an excellent team—the staff were friendly and welcoming, and they offered generous samples so I could try most of the menu. Ivan took great care with my order, offering helpful suggestions that really paid off. The food is outstanding. You can tell everything is slow-cooked with care. The pastrami, which they make fresh every two hours, was incredibly tender and full of flavor—just like the beef stew. They also serve a variety of sandwiches, rice bowls, and several types of noodles, all of which were delicious. San Wei is a fantastic addition to the mall—definitely worth a visit!
